We celebrated the end of a top year with some bowls at nearby club Balmain, followed by a lunch at The Cottage – both recommended local haunts. Though our producer Belle managed the nearest the jack (pictured), creative Daffers was the comp winner and hopes to defend the crown in 2019.
In a post-match press conference, Daffers said: “Pretty stoked. If you saw the score, it wasn’t close.” (He won in a bowl-off, 4-3.) Congrats, Daffers.
