Masters is Australia’s fastest growing hardware store. That’s no small feat when you consider they’re competing in a sector that’s been dominated for some time by one huge brand. Perhaps one reason Masters is growing so fast is the fact that they make the most of opportunities. And it was recently that Mammal helped them take advantage of a major opportunity. Having decided to sponsor Channel 7’s House Rules, Masters came to us with the challenge of creating hard-selling retail spots which reflected their sponsorship of the show, included a range of branding messages, and represented the Masters’ brand showcased with quality production values. All within a very specific budget, naturally. With a truly collaborative effort on strategy and creative, plus common sense thinking like keeping everything to one location, in a single day we were able to shoot all the footage required to produce ten different 30 second commercials. In our humble opinion, the end results are a cut above other retail spots in the category.
