Mammal welcomes Australian mattress manufacturer and bedding retailer OMF to the agency, with a social media project that includes a dose of wit.
OMF is a brand that is strong on value, as expressed through regular retail communications. So we wanted to be sure that those comms could be more readily attributed back to the brand, to maximise consideration among its target customers and ensure long-term success.
While a social media brief offering ‘50 months interest-free purchases’ mightn’t excite typical agency creatives, for Mammal it was a chance to begin to build a brand voice … without in any way diminishing OMF’s retail promise.
With the aid of a trusty calculator to double-check our sums (lol), we worked out that 50 months takes us all the way to 2023 – a year that seems impossibly futuristic even to the agency’s millennial staff members.
And so our first creative for OMF boldly goes into the future, with an offer to get social media users to not only notice, but to think OMF when they’re ready for their next bedroom purchase.
