After an exhaustive search through Australia’s advertising ranks, Mammal is pleased to announce two new hires. David ‘Daffers’ Little-Jones and Mike ‘no unusual nickname’ Watts join us from the AWARDSchool Top Ten, via consultant stints with a range of Sydney marketing, content and advertising agencies.
Daffers hails originally from Leicester in the UK, but has spent the last few years surfing the beaches of Australia’s East coast, art-directing ads and content, and even selling the wares of some of Sydney’s more progressive new agencies.
Mike was raised in Sydney’s Hills District, before fleeing to a life of DJing and copy writing – with agencies both large and small – closer to the inner city.
Mammal Creative Partner, Luke, says he was intrigued by the work in their portfolio immediately. ‘The guys show a great range of thinking, from big budget broadcast work to Snapchat lenses, social movements, and even simple retail executions with cut-through. As their backgrounds also demonstrate, they’re both hybrids who aren’t readily pigeon-holed into the old, traditional agency roles. We’ve already seen them bring a bunch of smarts and unexpected approaches to the work they’re doing with us here at Mammal.’
We’re pleased to welcome Daffers and Mike to our growing team.
