Not content with producing everything from large-scale TV shoots to our humblest display banners, Belle – our fearless (and apparently tireless) producer – still had an itch to scratch. So she applied her skills to longer form content – and has come away with a finalist at this year’s Tropfest short film festival.
Directed by Belle’s good friend John Cavallaro, the film is called Rash Decision. As you can diagnose yourself, it’s a darkish comedy about two newlyweds and one unexplained … ahem … rash.

Belle and her crew popped up at the Tropfest Film Festival in Parramatta Park (Sydney) along with the rest of the cream of the competition. While Rash Decision didn’t take away the major prizes, it’s a huge honour just to be there – and for a film made on a shoestring budget and many favours.
